This
movie was mainly done as a test to see what types of effects we could
achieve and to get a feel for what it would be like working on a project
together but being a few hundred miles apart.

The
'main shoot' took literally 10 minutes or less and the scenes were
scribbled on one side of A4 paper. It happened to be filmed on the
morning of my youngest daughter's birthday which is why there is a
bouncy castle in my garden.

We
benefited greatly from the skills we had to develop on this movie.
3D modelling, rotoscoping, object removal, motion tracking, particle
effects, weight and mass physics and sound dubbing all got a look in.
When
we scripted the idea, we had no idea if we could do it, however we
knew we wanted to give it a go. More ideas came about while we were
in post production and we pushed our limits further.

As
the film was worked on intermittantly between other projects, it actually
took 18 months to complete from start to finish but the benefit was we
had used that time to test ideas and improve the new skills we had
learnt.
